I taught a water aerobics class of one this morning. It was only 61 degrees and the pool heater was turned off, but the two of us got in the water and toughed it out. By the time I got home, AJ was gone. Our local movie theater shows free second-run kids’ movies on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings during the summer, and our neighbors took AJ to see Shrek 3, then fed him lunch and generally kept him entertained until about 3:00 while I worked. So a useful day, but I have absolutely nothing interesting to say about it.
The drama happened when AJ came home and we ran to the video store, a mile away. When we got home, AJ said, “I don’t feel very well,” and then promptly lost his lunch in the front hall. Since then, we’ve been laying low, reading Harry Potter and more Harry Potter and watching TV. We will attempt some dinner shortly. Wish us luck.
