In the air there’s a feeling

A few Christmas photos:

AJ chatted with Santa at the family party on Christmas Eve:

AJ is excited Santa brought him Sprite in a round bottle:

AJ’s rock star scowl (actually, the scowl just means, “Mom, I’m trying to be cool. You can’t tell me to smile and take my picture”):

Boxing Day snow: this was this morning. We’ve had at least 6 more inches since this was taken:

God, in that scowling picture, AJ looks like…..gulp…..a TEENAGER. How did we let these children of ours grow up? It cannot be allowed.

that’s cool about the Sprite–I didn’t know that was possible.

Claudia is right – I couldn’t get over how much older he looked in your Christmas card photo…sigh.

And ye gods, the snow! 12.1 inches out here – looks like you got slammed with more than that.

You have more snow. But I have more scowling teenagers. Actually, they’ve been good company so far this vacation. They dragged us out to see The Princess and the Frog, and as Eleanor predicted, we cried over the dead firefly.

Freshhell, he may look like a teenager, but you can’t see the part where his feet don’t touch the floor. Cranky, they had special bottles for Xmas that look like ornaments — Coke also. Lass, I think we had a total of something like 16 or 17 inches. Jeanne, I don’t think I’ll be able to convince AJ to see The Princess and the Frog. Then again, I don’t think he’ll be able to convince me to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks redux.
