We stood beneath an amber moon

The work load is only getting worse, but it’s work I like, so while it’s panicky, it’s also interesting. I learned two things today that I think I should have probably already known. One is that the James DePreist, the late conductor (Note: this is not a disparaging remark on his conducting skills — he died not that long ago) was the nephew of Marian Anderson. Another is that Agnes de Mille was the niece of Cecil B. And finally, there’s this:
